During the early visual development for Bolt's YouTube thumbnail designs, I used Midjourney to generate a series of abstract 3D illustrations as background visuals for them. This rapid concept exploration helped evaluate several different approaches to color, style, and composition before committing to a final direction.
While these concepts were ultimately set aside in favor of a different visual approach, they played an important role in shaping the project's creative exploration and narrowing the overall design direction.
